At a young age, creativity started flowing through my veins. Having two amazing and talented parents helped pave my way. The Caribbean is the best place for a child's artistic side to grow and I am grateful for the guidance of my parents and sister. Climbing trees, going on adventures through the day and night, exploring the realm of creating and broadening my perspective. The sister islands, Antigua and Barbuda, are not only home to my body, but also to the birth of my creativity. During a family trip to Eastern Europe at the age of 13, my passion for photography blossomed.
2015; I received a BFA in Professional Photography from Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, California. I spent 7 years in the United States photographing weddings and more, learning photography's business and marketing side, and now I am living back in Antigua. After 10 + years of focusing on Wedding Photography, I am on a new path focusing on single, couple and family portraits. My photography is about capturing moments and creating memories. The instant I see something marvellous... It could be a look between family members or a couple in love, a bird catching its dinner, or my love surfing an awesome wave, I am there to snap a photo for a gorgeous memory to last a lifetime. When I am not photographing, you can find me exploring, spending time at the beach, practising qi gong, enjoying nature, writing, doodling, belting out jazz (Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday are 2 of my idols), eating delicious food, sharing time with my family and loved ones or daydreaming. I hope you enjoy this collection of my work and adventures! |
