LIFE CAN BE SCARY AT TIMES![]() Especially if you are not confident with yourself and don’t take the time to truly love and accept all sides of your being. People tend to latch onto others when they cannot face themselves. This can create such an unhealthy relationship with yourself and other people in your life. Don’t stay comfortable and play it “safe” in your stagnant energy. Your existence is screaming for you to flow. Dig deep and get to the root of you. Surrender and let go. Take the time to get to know yourself like you take the time to know others. Make yourself a priority. Don’t judge others or yourself because we truly do not know and we need to be more open to learning. We don’t always have to say what’s on our mind, but we should always be wary what’s growing (or not growing) up in that fascinating place. We are what we think, your mind can be a flourishing garden or a barren and lonely landscape. I know it’s hard to take in, but it is actually your choice. - continued in comments For many years I chose to be barren and everyone always saw the facade of a flourishing garden. I despised confrontation and never wanted to bring anyone else down because of my heavy sorrow due to my past traumas. I kept everything to myself and it was the biggest mistake that I could have done. But, I learned and I slowly started to break out of my shell and share with people who I felt I could trust. This was so new and scary but the more I did it the better I felt. The most important thing I learned to do is accept all sides of myself and choose to grow rather than stay in the dark places that I started to know so well. Now, I dive deep into my fears and do not drown in my tears. I stand tall and ask for help when needed and take a break when overwhelmed and overheating. We are all in this together and that’s the beauty of humanity. We are infinitely connected whether you want to believe it or not. Rather than taking the time to judge others, look at yourself and work on what you need to mend. Take the time to be more kind and if you don’t have anything good to say let it go. This applies to yourself and others.
